Elizabeth
LYNOTT
Elizabeth Lynott was born in Dublin in 1974. Elizabeth has developed prolific visual language in both multimedia applications and sculptural fabrications.
She has studied at D. L. I.D.T. and G.M.I.T. She holds an honours degree in multi media and sculpture.
She has exhibited extensively, in exhibitions such as Sculpture in Context Dublin, Tulca Galway, Enso, Galway, Fresh Art London, Berlin, Safehouse Artspace, Belfast, and Dun Laoghaire Town Hall, Co. Dublin.
She has shifted her focus to art within the community, and is currently working as art facilitator with HSE West and Galway Art Centre.

Currently I am Interested in the use of the physical body to express ideas through the medium of performance, and digital media. And the use of multimedia in the execution of object making and installation work I am beginning to explore the use of sound and text as new vehicles for my expression. Video and/or slide projection often accompanies (or becomes) my work.
